Hi, I’m Ian.

I’m an industrial designer working at the intersection of hard and soft goods—bridging the gap from fiber to product. Traveling, cultural events, and, most of all, being out in nature fuel my creativity, drive to make, and passion for sustainability.

Like many designers and artists, creativity, exploration, and tinkering are at the core of who I am. My connection to nature also instills a deep sense of responsibility to leave the world better than I found it. The global industry that shapes the shoes, clothes, and accessories we use to protect and express ourselves is incredibly complex. Yet, I see opportunity in that complexity. Through innovation, I strive to drive meaningful change from within and contribute to a more sustainable future.

As for my professional background, I bring experience from both building my own business and working within leading global brands. With a foundation in softgoods product design, materials innovation, as well as CMF design and innovation, I’m an agile, cross-disciplinary designer skilled in navigating both hard and soft goods—categories that often share unique construction challenges, performance demands, and consumer expectations. I take pride in creating work that stands the test of time, both in its design language and in its reflection of sustainability values.
